Black Desert Console’s latest expansion, Mountain of Eternal Winter, is now available on PlayStation and Xbox. Gamers can cool off this summer while exploring the new snowy region, its quest lines and other content.
Players will ascend the titular mountain as they search for Holy Flame Ynix. Eventually, they will confront the witch Illezra and the Dreadwinter Guardian boss, Erebjork. There’s also plenty to uncover in the new central hub town of Eilton, including hidden knowledge of the mountain’s history.
Black Desert Console players will also get new content for both the beginning and end game experience. Mountain of Eternal Winter is the third new player starting zone introduced since the title launched on consoles in 2019. Additionally, there’s plenty of challenges such as boss fights and dungeons in three new areas for fully leveled characters.
Gamers that want to try Black Desert Online should join soon. To celebrate the patch’s launch, Pearl Abyss is running several in-game events to give players extra in-game rewards and experience. Additionally, there’s a brand new adorable Fwuzzy Alpaca mount for Shai characters to collect.

Xbox and PlayStation players can finally join their peers on PC on the Mountain of Eternal Winter. Pearl Abyss first added the region for Black Desert Online in May 2022.
