GAMEE, a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, receives investment from TON Ventures to integrate TON-based digital assets and expand its Web3 gaming ecosystem.

GAMEE, a high-engagement Web3 and mobile gaming platform and a subsidiary of Animoca Brands, has announced a strategic investment from TON Ventures, the first venture fund of The Open Network (TON). This investment is set to enhance GAMEE’s ecosystem by integrating TON-based digital assets, including tokens and NFTs, into its offerings, according to Animoca Brands.

Investment to Drive Integration and User Engagement

The investment from TON Ventures will facilitate the integration of millions of Telegram users into the TON Network. This initiative aims to introduce new community-centric and viral features driven by TON-based digital assets. GAMEE currently boasts over 4 million players using TON Wallets connected to its WatBird Mini App and plans to further expand its activities within the TON gaming ecosystem.

The integration will feature community-centric and viral market activations on the GAMEE Telegram Mini App, aiming to onboard additional gaming and Web3 communities, GameFi investors, and Telegram users to the TON Blockchain and TON Wallet. This will enhance user engagement and expand the reach of GAMEE’s ecosystem.

Strategic Vision and Future Plans

Bozena Rezab, co-founder of GAMEE, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to deepen our relationship with The Open Network (TON). We plan to enrich the gaming experience we have built for Telegram with new viral and community-focused mechanics centered around the meme character WatBird. This is another milestone in welcoming our community of 90 million Telegram gamers into the TON ecosystem.”

Users can learn more about GAMEE’s first activation on the TON ecosystem by visiting the Telegram Mini App and participating in the WatPoint mining event.
