Planetarium Labs announces closed beta for Immortal Rising 2
Planetarium Labs announced today that it’s holding its closed beta test for its upcoming idle-RPG, Immortal Rising 2 soon. The registration period for the test opens today and remains open through June 18, with the time of the actual test to be announced sometime later. Participants can play the current build of the game, and the development team at Bad Beans will use those participants’ feedback to help shape the game for its release.
The publisher first revealed Immortals Rising 2 at the Korean Blockchain Week in September 2023. As stated, it’s an idle action-RPG and a sequel to Immortal Rising. The new game builds upon the original’s mechanics, having improved combat mechanics, guild content, skill trees and sustainable tokenomics.
JC Kim, Planetarium Labs’ CEO and founder, said in a statement, “We’re thrilled to unveil the Closed Beta Test for Immortal Rising 2, marking a pivotal moment in our journey to redefine gaming in the Web3 era. We can’t wait for players to immerse themselves in the world of Immortal Rising 2.”
Planetarium Labs raised $32 million in a funding round led by Animoca Brands in 2022. The company has launched other Web3 RPGs, including, most recently, Nine Chronicles M on mobile.
